Now it's almost Rally time.
Upon arrival in Arnborg
Many have already announced their arrival on Saturday, and we are happy about that. But since we cannot dispose the gliding center until close to the rally, certain details such as the electrical installation for the campsite will be ready at the last minute before the rally opens. Power supply to the campsite will be established on Sunday the 26th. Temporary supply will be established for a few pitches on the 24th. If you arrive on Saturday, you must be prepared that power supply will not be available until Sunday. On Saturday and Sunday it is not possible to buy food at the airfield.

When you arrive at Arnborg Glider Airfield, follow the signs to the "T1" parking area. If you are arriving by car, you may park in "P VI".
Parking in "T1" is permitted only until your arrival has been registered. After that, "T1" is reserved for trailer parking.

Preparations for the rally are in full swing. A long list with tasks has been prepared. A large number of the tasks have already been solved and the remaining ones should be in place before the rally.
The construction of the new hangar has started well, even though the work has been at a standstill for almost a month due to bad weather, storms, frost and snow. The hangar got the roof laid, all vertical sides are cladded and the doors are being now being installed. Electricity has been connected and lights are installed. A technical room is also being built inside the hangar, where, among other things, the fire protection control will be installed. So we are so optimistic that we believe that the hangar is ready for the rally.
At the time of writing, 43 pilots, 18 other participants from a total of 10 different nations and 31 aircraft divided into 27 aircraft types have registered. There is room for many more.
If you haven't registered yet, remember that the participation fee will increase on May 1st.

Now it has happened!
The VGC website is live. After a long and tough move, with great and nice work by Michael Sønderup Nielsen in particular, the vgc2026.dk website is up and running. Almost everything about the rally can be found on the website. The registration form is open for registration. Further details will be added to the website when available, so do take a look once in a while and keep yourself updated!
Another big thing is the construction of our new hangar is well underway. The steel rafters have been erected, and at the end of December a topping-out ceremony was held with a traditional Danish topping-out ceremony menu: red sausages and beer. The purlins have been mounted and the next step is the installation of fire ventilation and the laying the roof. So if everything goes according to plan, the hangar will be finished and can be used at the Rally.
